Tank Wagon Plates Rolling Process

The tank wagon process starts by rolling the plates into barrels and cones. The rolls can roll plates of different sizes up to a thickness of 25 mm, type of material: ASTM 516 GR 70 or ALT. B51501 - 151 GR 430P.

Tank Wagon Assembly

After rolling the plates, the barrels or cones are tack welded together and then circular and longitudinal welding takes place with a submerged boom welder. The welded sections are subjected to X-rays and MPI as required by ASNE or B15001.
