The company operates from two manufacturing facilities in Boksburg, Gauteng and constantly adapts its products to meet the needs of evolving markets. 

A team of expert industrial engineers devises and drives the process from design through manufacture to timeous delivery. Meeting stringent technological demands and ensuring compliance with international specifications is crucial. Monitoring throughout the entire process ensures that stringent quality levels are met, while refurbishments and after sales service ensure all products enjoy an extended lifespan. Significant investment in new machinery and equipment as well as in strategic research and development are ongoing to maintain plant and design at world class standards.  Design and development control is conducted within the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.

DCD Rolling Stock holds the intellectual property rights to the majority of its manufactured products, which is safeguarded through strict employee screening and security procedures.
