In brief: DCD was formed in 2001 following a management buy-out of the Heavy Engineering Division of the then listed multi-disciplinary group, Dorbyl Limited. The group of businesses has evolved through clear strategic focus into a well-established international manufacturing and engineering company, having achieved sustained growth and return on investment over the past decade. In 2012 the group underwent a comprehensive rebranding to become DCD operating through four key clusters:
